The use of the HYDRA expansion mandrel is in a fully automated process for gear grinding. The adaptation can be flanged directly onto the machine spindle, onto a base chuck or designed to fit a quick-change system. The components are clamped in a form-fitting manner on the entire lateral surface of the mounting hole.
