Hydraulic Shaving Mandrels are used for higher accuracies. Two type of Shaving Mandrels are there -
Between Centre Hydraulic type
Machine Mounted Hydraulic type
In Between Centre type workpiece is clamped outside enables a customer to take A SET of such kind of mandrels so that the productivity will be greater
In Machine Mounted type clamping body is Mounted of Headstock side of machine and supporting end at Tailstock side which results in Auto operated Mandrel Actuation. Such mandrel not needed a set because the production will continue on single mounted mandrel.
